Oilcloth experiment – doorstop

I have been meaning to play around with some oilcloth for a while so I had a got at making a doorstop out of a simple zippered pocket.

To add some weight, I collected some big pebbles on Killiney beach :

Oilcloth actually works well for a doorstop as it can get quite sticky on a wooden or tiled floor. That stickiness can be a problem when sewing by machine, so a teflon foot works really well here.
